So when my 6-year old son's piggy bank has begun to overflow, I decided to get him a new one. I found a large "Marvin the Martian" bank at my community yard sale, and brought it home for him. We sat down on the floor and emptied out the old piggy bank. We soon began to transfer the loot to the new bank when my son grabbed a goldish-looking coin and asked me what it was. At first glance, I thought it was one of his Chuckie-Cheese tokens. However, after getting a closer look, I quickly snared the coin away from him and told him that it was worthless and I'll replace it with four shiny new quarters. He gave me a puzzled look, but accepted my offer as he was excited to get four coins for the price of one.
Attached are the photos of the coins. I'm not sure where they came from, and even more importantly, how they made their way to his bank.
Anybody know where these originate from? There might be four shiny quarters in it for ya!
