Some friends and I were sitting around at our local pub not too long ago, and began discussing the best albums of all time. We were not so concerned with which one sold the most copies, but which one is listened to most often. We then posed the question of, if you were stranded on an island, with only a CD player (assuming that it will never run out of power), and you could only bring one album (non-customized of course), which one would it be?
We were stuck between two - Bob Marley's "Legend" and Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side of the Moon".
We then realized, that each of us (there were eight of us sitting there, all with unique/diverse backgrounds) had at least one song by both of these artists.
As the night progressed, we used this debate as our ice-breaker to talk with the ladies (and the girls to the guys - not that they needed one). Everyone we spoke to, also had in their collection of MP3's at least one song by both artists.
Could it be that every music-lover has at least one song in their collection by one or both of these artists?
Is there anyone out there that does NOT have at least one song by either of these artists? Just nod if you can hear me....
